An apple pie with less than 120kcal per portion and also very easy to prepare? Even if you are not a "fit chef", it becomes easy to use the Lo Dough base as the "crust" of the cake. Lo Dough is neutral and thanks to the fact that it provides only 40 kcal it allows you to prepare many really super light sweet and savory recipes. This cake is an example of how it can also be used in a sweet version. If you really have a sweet tooth, you can serve it with a little semi-whipped cream sprinkled with cinnamon.

Ingredients for 4 servings

  • 1 Lo-Dough base
  • 2 apples thinly sliced ​​into crescents
  • 2 large eggs
  • 60 ml of cream
  • 30 g of sweetener ( Sukrin: 1 recommended )
  • A teaspoon of vanilla paste
  • A good pinch of cinnamon

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 140°C.
  • Roll out the Lo-Dough thinly and line an 18cm pan with it
  • Arrange the sliced ​​apples concentrically on the Lo-Dough - you need to make two layers, arrange them nicely throughout.
  • Make a simple custard by whisking heavy cream and eggs together with the sweetener, vanilla and cinnamon.
  • Pour the custard mixture over the apple and bake for 35-40 minutes.
  • The cream should be cooked through, but still be a little soft.
  • Leave to cool on a wire rack for at least 5 minutes.
  • Serve cold or alternatively hot if you prefer.
