Diet Food Organic Coconut Sugar is sugar obtained from the sap of the coconut palm flower. It is an unrefined sugar and this causes it to contain minerals and vitamins as well as a part of inulin which is the reason why, despite having about the same calories as "normal" sugar, it has a lower glycemic index and is therefore considered also suitable for the diet of diabetics (obviously with an eye to the quantities). Unlike polyols, it doesn't have any side effects, but you still need to bear in mind that the caloric intake is still high and therefore, in any case, use it in moderation. Also suitable for children, it has a color and a taste similar to brown sugar.
