Dark agave syrup - Ostrovit

Agave syrup is an all-natural sweet syrup made from the agave plant. It is an extremely sweet syrup, more than sugar and honey, and this has the great advantage of being able to use less (something to always evaluate when choosing a sweetener). Its marked sweetness derives from the fact that it is mainly composed of fructose, therefore it also has a reduced glycemic index, certainly lower than that of sugar. It can be used to sweeten drinks but also in all the other ways you would use honey, for example and in general to sweeten naturally.
