Xylitol Sweetened Dark Chocolate Chips - Xucker

Xucker 75% Dark Chocolate Chips are sweetened with the highest quality xylitol and have only 1g of sugar per 100g. Xylitol is a natural sweetener with a taste very similar to that of sugar and the same sweetening power, which is very convenient when you have to dose in recipes that would require the use of sucrose.

Xylitol is an excellent alternative to sugar, it has a much lower glycemic index (13 while sugar is 65) and an excellent taste but unlike erythritol it is partly metabolised (about 60%). In the nutritional information, however, you can already find the count of NET carbohydrates per 100g.
