Five Changes Nutritional Yeast Crunchies are crunchy balls made from inactive yeast and rice flour. Perfect to add to creams, soups and savory recipes, they provide vitamin B12, proteins and an excellent cheese-like taste. Nutritional yeast is in fact an excellent source of vitamins, especially those of group B and also contains zinc, iron, calcium and magnesium. Don't confuse it with normal yeast, this is deactivated so it doesn't help leaven dough but with its slightly "cheesy" taste it's great to add to sauces, soups, salads, pasta. Perfect if you are intolerant to cheese, follow a vegan diet or simply want to try a food with a very interesting taste but above all with a high vitamin B12 content.
