Aka sugar-free meringues are sweetened with xylitol and isomalt and contain only natural flavors and colourings. The main ingredient is obviously the egg white and this makes them notoriously very light. An excellent alternative to meringues which normally contain a lot of sugar, they can be used in sweet recipes as well as, obviously, crunching like this. Very good idea to dip them in chocolate and coat them.
