Golden milk has become somewhat of a trend but in reality it is truly a drink with many advantages. Known since the dawn of time in Ayurvedic medicine as a remedy for many different problems, golden milk, thanks to the presence of turmeric, proves to be an excellent ally for relaxing and falling asleep more easily.
An easy drink to prepare and perfect to drink in the evening, especially in winter when something warm is always nice (if it's good for you and helps you relax even better).
Ingredients for a cup of Golden Milk:
- 250ml of milk of your choice (coconut or almond for example)
- 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder
- 1 small piece of fresh minced ginger
- 1 cinnamon tip
- 2 teaspoons of honey or vinegar or agave syrup
Heat the milk in a saucepan with all the ingredients until it simmers and stir until the spices have dissolved. Drink warm and… have a good rest!
